Mark Schackmuth

Mark Schackmuth is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Origination at Fervo Energy since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading origination activities, proposals, and negotiations. Previously, Mark held various roles at NV Energy from July 2008 to January 2021, including Renewable Customer Programs Director, Manager of Energy Market Policy, and Power Trader, focusing on renewable energy product development, market policy support, and regulatory compliance. Additional experience includes a law clerk position at Clifford Law Offices and a Mayoral Fellow role in the Office of the Mayor of Chicago. Mark holds a Doctor of Law degree from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
