Geothermal Facilities Engineer at Fervo Energy

Mor Bisk has a diverse work experience in the energy and environmental fields. They began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they also gave tutorials on the 'Thermoflow' program. They then worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Lumenis and as a Research Intern and TA at The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies.

Mor later joined Intel Corporation as a Process Engineer before transitioning to Ormat Technologies, Inc. as a Performance (Thermodynamics) Engineer. They were responsible for designing new geothermal power plants and ensuring optimal performance of existing plants. In their role as Performance Engineer Lead at Ormat, Mor led a team dedicated to improving plant performance and resolving operational issues.

Most recently, Mor joined Fervo Energy as a Geothermal Facilities Engineer. In this role, they lead the design, development, and construction of surface facilities and transmission interconnections for geothermal energy projects.

Throughout their career, Mor has demonstrated a strong focus on renewable energy and environmental conservation. They have also gained experience in teaching and research in these fields.

Mor Bisk attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, Mor also completed a seminar at the Friedberg Economics Institute, where they obtained a completion report in Economics.
