Sydni Tomblin

Sydni Tomblin is a Reservoir Engineer at Fervo Energy since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in the energy sector. Prior to this role, Sydni held positions at Xcel Energy, serving as Sr. Engineer in System Planning, Modeling, & Analytics, and as Sr. Gas Distribution Engineer. Academic foundations include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior industry experience includes significant roles at BHP, where Sydni advanced cost-saving initiatives, and EOG Resources, where comprehensive datasets for over 300 wells were created. Additional experience includes hands-on operational roles in various engineering capacities, with emphasis on performance optimization, continuous improvement, and risk assessments throughout Sydni's career.
