Valerie Coreño

Valerie Coreño has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Valerie started their career as a Substitute Teacher at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD from August 2008 to May 2010. Valerie then joined IDEA Public Schools as a Teacher and was responsible for coordinating programs and planning school events from August 2010 to May 2014.

Valerie then transitioned to Reasoning Mind as a Customer Success Manager where they provided educational expertise and developed customer success strategies from July 2014 to July 2018. Valerie then joined Imagine Learning as a Customer Success Manager, managing and maintaining school districts and driving successful product implementations from July 2018 to August 2019.

Following Imagine Learning, Valerie worked as a Training and Development Specialist at Dynos.io, collaborating with stakeholders to determine appropriate audiences and deliver professional development workshops from August 2019 to March 2020.

Valerie's most recent roles include Senior Lead Engagement Specialist at FEV Tutor, where they managed a team of 30 individuals and achieved department objectives from March 2021 to January 2022. Valerie is currently working at FEV Tutor as an Academic Success Coach, managing and maintaining school districts and mentoring other coaches to achieve their goals.

Throughout their career, Valerie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, an ability to drive academic success, and expertise in customer relationship management and training.

Valerie Coreño obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Texas-Pan American. Valerie attended the university from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science - MS degree in Organizational Leadership at Our Lady of the Lake University, from 2018 to 2020.
