Brooke Smith

Brooke Smith has worked for PFLAG National/Straight for Equality since 2004. Brooke started as a Field and Policy Manager and later became the Chief Information Senior Manager in February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Trainer for Break Away from 2002 to 2006.

Brooke Smith has a diverse education history. In 1998, they enrolled at The University of Kansas and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism, Advertising, and Strategic Communications in 2002. Following this, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Graphic Design at Johnson County Community College, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, Brooke attended The University of Kansas again, although the specific dates are unknown, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English.
