Liz Owen

Liz Owen's work experience includes being the Director of Communications at PFLAG National/Straight for Equality since 2011. In this role, they manage communications for the national nonprofit and oversees an integrated communications program. Liz also recruits and manages celebrity talent, writes speeches and talking points, develops social media strategies, and creates content for print and online publications. Prior to this, Liz worked as a Freelance Publicist and a Publicist at Paramount Pictures. Liz also served as an Executive Assistant at Paramount Pictures and as the Executive Director at FilmBureau 606. Liz's early career included roles as a Talent Scout at Independent Film Channel LLC/Next Wave and as an Actor/Musician in the freelance industry.

Liz Owen has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, studying Speech/Theatre. Liz has also obtained a Master's certificate in Theatre/Theater from New Actors Workshop. Prior to this, Liz Owen completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Fieldston High School.
