Halston Fernandez

Halston Fernandez, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2006, they started their career at Pro Line Fence Corporation as a Project Lead. Halston then moved on to work at Cohen & Company as a Tax Intern and later as a Tax Staff from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Averett Warmus Durkee as an Audit Staff. From 2016 to 2018, Halston worked at WithumSmith+Brown as an Audit Senior and later as an Audit Supervisor. In 2018, they began working at FFVA Mutual Insurance Co. and Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association (FFVA) as a Controller, and later as the Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Halston's current position is as the Director of Finance & Administration at Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association (FFVA).

Halston began their academic journey at Florida Gulf Coast University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration. Building on this foundation, Halston further pursued their studies at the UCF College of Business from 2010 to 2012, ultimately earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Recognizing the importance of continuing their education, Halston attended the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2014 to 2015, earning a Master of Science degree in Accounting.
