Jonathan Tinning has a wide range of work experience in the HR field. Jonathan started their career at GEC Alsthom, where they held various positions from 1985 to 1997. Then, they worked as an HR Manager at Imperial Home Decor Group from 1997 to 2001. After that, they joined JD Williams as the Head of People, where they focused on employee relations, talent development, and HR IT solutions until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Jonathan worked as an HR Consultant at the JST Consulting Group, where they assisted companies with employment law, employee relations issues, and recruitment needs. In 2015, they also became an Associate at gunnercookeConsulting. Currently, they are the Head of People at FGH (Freemans Grattan Holdings) and serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Tony Rampton Trust.
Jonathan Tinning completed their education with a MA degree in Human Resources Management from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2000. Prior to this, they obtained a CIPD degree in Human Resources Management from Wigan & Leigh College, which they attended from 1992 to 1997.
