Raymond Lee has a strong background in architecture and design. Raymond started their career as an intern at Stowell Cook Frolichstein in 1982, where they worked until 1990. Raymond then joined Prisco Duffy as an intern for a brief period before moving on to SRBL Architects in 1990, where they held the role of Principal Architect until 2011. In 2000, they founded their own company, Raymond Lee Guitars, where they worked as a Guitar Maker. Raymond currently serves as the Vice President at FGM Architects, a position they have held since 2012.

Raymond Lee attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1980 to 1985 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BArch) during this time.
