David Starkston

David Starkston has over 30 years of professional experience in the field of taxation and accounting. David started their career as a Certified Public Accountant at Checkers, Simon & Rosner LLP in 1986 and worked there until 1997. David then joined McGladrey as a Tax Director and Director in 1997 and remained with the company until 2016. During their time at McGladrey, they held the role of Tax Director. In 2016, they joined FGMK, LLC as a Tax Director and is currently in that role. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Manager at American Express Tax & Business Services from 1999 to 2005.

David Starkston attended Illinois State University from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. David further pursued their education at DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 1986 to 1988, earning a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) with a specialization in Taxation.
