Art Jacob

Art Jacob came to FHE Health in 2004 and has worn many hats, including Admissions Coordinator, Director of Admissions, Director of Sober Skills, and Director of Patient Experience. A graduate of Springfield College, Art recalls: “I dedicated my life to helping others.” Addiction drove Art from institution to institution until he was able to find a spiritual path and a moral psychology that has freed him from the bondage of active addiction. When making amends to his parents, Art asked, “How can I make this right?” his mother’s response, “All we want is our son back. When I was trying to find you help, there was no money or insurance. No one would talk to me. What you can do for me now is speak to the parents who are trying to help their children. Bring them some hope.” Art does just that, every day.
