Ryan Walsh, AICP, PP

Ryan Walsh, AICP, PP has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Ryan currently serves as the Manager of Community Engagement for FHI Studio in the Mid-Atlantic region, a position they have been in since July 2019. Additionally, they hold the role of Project Manager at the same company, a position they have held since November 2013.

Prior to joining FHI Studio, Ryan worked at Howard/Stein-Hudson Associates, Inc. for six years, starting in November 2007. Here, they held the position of Transportation Planner/Public Involvement Specialist before leaving in October 2013.

Before this, Ryan was a Research Assistant at the Center for Sustainable Urban Development at The Earth Institute from May 2007 to November 2007. Ryan also worked as a Community Planning Fellow at the Manhattan Borough President's Office from September 2006 to June 2007.

Ryan's earlier experience includes working as a Short-Term Consultant at the Water and Sanitation Programme from June 2006 to August 2006 and as a Field Geologist at ENGEO from August 2002 to August 2005.

Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology and Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon, where they studied from 1996 to 2001.
