Karla Russo has extensive experience in human resources and benefits management. Karla has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including their current position as the SVP, Chief Human Resources & Inclusion Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. Prior to this, they served as the First Vice President of Human Resources and OMWI at the same organization. Before joining the Federal Home Loan Bank, Russo worked at Comair, Inc. as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they led the development and implementation of compensation and benefits strategies. Karla also played a crucial role in the company's bankruptcy claims and the conversion of their 401k Plan. Earlier in their career, Russo held the position of Corporate Benefits Manager at Catholic Health Initiatives and Director of Benefits, Compensation, and Wellness at General Cable.

Karla further pursued their education at Xavier University, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in General Business. Karla obtained their MBA from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Karla Russo has also obtained several certifications. Karla achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute in December 2010. Furthermore, Karla has obtained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification, awarded by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
