Neeraj Bhope

Neeraj Bhope is the Co-Founder at Fi. Prior to Fi, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Google from January 2007 to July 2019. At Google, they worked on the Google Pay app (launched as Tez earlier). Neeraj was also the tech lead for the Google Pay for Business app, designing the backend data store for businesses, online KYC, order management and money movement, reconciliation, data localization, etc. In addition, they handled the UPI integrations with top Indian banks and was responsible for the backend development, security aspects, and precarious partner engagements. Neeraj also designed the backend for the Digital Gold buy/sell feature on the app and worked with UX team for UI design. Neeraj has also previously worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at IBM India Private Limited from January 2003 to December 2006 and as a Senior Software Engineer at firstrain from January 2001 to December 2003.

Neeraj Bhope has a M.Tech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
