Fiagon
Lutz Kersten has extensive work experience in the field of medical technology. Lutz currently serves as the Head of R&D at Fiagon, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe, where they held the role of Abteilungsleiter Softwareentwicklung (Head of Software Development) starting from March 2006.
Lutz Kersten attended TFH Berlin from 1983 to 1989 and earned a degree in Elektronik und Informatik. Lutz achieved the Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) title upon graduation.
Fiagon
Fiagon develops clinical navigation systems that reimagine image guidance by improving the function of electromagnetic navigation. Fiagon's systems use electromagnetic tracking matrix algorithms and flexible pointer technology that indicates the position of the instrument used in the CT or MRI image data, allowing physicians to get accurateplanning, improve patient outcomes, and implementation of the operation.
