Vijaykumar Shejal

Vijaykumar Shejal has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Vijaykumar started their career as a Project Intern at Suzlon Group in 2012, where they gained practical knowledge in the field. Vijaykumar then worked as a Program Analyst at Cognizant from 2013 to 2015, specializing in manual and automation testing. During this time, they were involved in all phases of the software development life cycle and utilized a waterfall methodology for testing.

In 2016, Vijaykumar undertook a Research Project Internship at Technische Universität Chemnitz, further expanding their knowledge and skills. Vijaykumar subsequently joined FusionSystems GmbH in 2017 as an Intern, focusing on human joint estimation from depth data. Here, they acquired expertise in computer vision, image processing, and algorithm development using C++ and OpenCV library.

Continuing their journey at FusionSystems GmbH, Vijaykumar worked as a Master Thesis Student in 2018. Their thesis involved the extraction of the human 3D skeleton from RGB and depth images using superpixels and machine learning techniques. Vijaykumar created a superpixel SLIC algorithm and labeling tool, implementing the algorithm with C++ and OpenCV library.

Most recently, Vijaykumar joined Fiagon in 2020 as a Software Developer.
