Irene Merino

Irene Merino began their work experience in 2005 as a TV producer and writer for Grupo Vocento (Punto TV) until 2006. Irene then worked as a TV producer for Veranda Televisió until the end of that year. In 2006, they also provided book editing services for Mediens & Planeta. From 2007 to 2008, Irene worked as a TV producer for BCN TV, GESTMUSIC ENDEMOL for TELE5, where they produced episodes of the show Dutifrí. Irene also worked as a TV producer and writer for BCN TV for TVE 2 in 2008. Irene then joined FIBA TV as a TV and event producer for EuroBasket 2009. In 2010, they worked freelance for FIBA TV, providing TV operations for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. From 2009 to 2011, Irene worked as an internal communications and events coordinator for XARXA FP. Finally, they joined FIBA in 2011 as the Head of Broadcast Coordination at FIBA Media, focused on TV broadcast operations and partner servicing.

Irene Merino attended the Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Media & Communication.
