Mete Budak

Mete Budak has an extensive work experience in the field of digital content production and media management. Mete started their career at Eurohoops as a Senior Editor and Translator from October 2015 to August 2017. Mete then joined Galatasaray SK, where they served as the Media and Communications Manager at the Basketball Department from August 2017 to October 2021. During this time, they were responsible for all media operations and content production, including social media management. Mete also worked with EuroLeague and Basketball Champions League entities. Additionally, Budak founded and curated Galatasaray SK's English social media channels, successfully building a community of over 2 million people across platforms. Since October 2021, they have been working as a Digital Content Producer at FIBA, where they oversee FIBA's main social media channels on various platforms and is responsible for content production, event coverage, and managing content plans for all events and global channels. Under their supervision, FIBA generated over 80 million engagements on social media platforms in 2022, ranking first among Olympic Federations.

Mete Budak pursued their education in the field of Psychology, earning a Bachelor's degree. Mete attended Işık Üniversitesi from 2012 to 2016 and later Södertörn University from 2014 to 2016.
