Simonas Baranauskas has a diverse work experience in the field of digital content, communications, and journalism. Simonas started their career as a Journalist at Eurobasket.com in 2007 and went on to become an Editor-in-chief at LithuaniaBasketball.com. Simonas then worked as a Freelance Journalist for FIBA and the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. In 2013, Simonas joined the BBL - British Basketball League as a Writer. Simonas also served as a Communications Assistant at the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Simonas later became the Website Editor & Social Media Manager at the Baltic Basketball League. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Communications Manager at the European Seniors Basketball Association. Currently, Simonas is employed at FIBA, where they have held roles such as Digital Content Coordinator, Digital Content Senior Associate, and currently, Digital Content Manager.
Simonas Baranauskas completed their Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Studies at the University of Exeter from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Vilnius Lyceum from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Brandos Atestatas / Matura Certificate.
