Bassem Jouni

Bassem Jouni has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Northwest Electromagnetics and Acoustics Research Laboratory, where they focused on calculating and modeling the scattering of EM waves. In 2006, Jouni joined FiberSensys, Inc. as an Optical Engineer, designing and organizing test experiments for new product development. Bassem then moved on to become the MEA Sales Manager at FiberSensys, Ic, from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, Jouni joined Schneider Electric Buildings Critical Systems, Inc. as a Channel Manager, developing and sustaining new sales channels for Building Management System and Access Control solutions. In 2012, they returned to FiberSensys, Inc. as the Saudi Arabia and ME Manager, responsible for all revenues in the Middle East market. Currently, Jouni is the General Manager for the Middle East region at OPTEX / FiberSensys, responsible for driving revenues and offering secure solutions to customers in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Military, Commercial, and Transportation.

Bassem Jouni obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Portland State University. Bassem attended the university from 2001 to 2005.
