Domenico Castaldo, PMP, has over 30 years of work experience in various project management roles.

domenico started their career as a System Engineer in 1989 at Telesoft S.p.A., where they worked on integrating the TIRKS system into Telecom Italia's environment. domenico played a crucial role in defining user requirement specifications and providing consultation on the system functionalities.

In 1995, Castaldo became an Architecture & Database Engineer at Telesoft S.p.A., where they managed a project for developing fiber and coaxial Transmission Network Database. domenico oversaw the physical management of the network and supported planning, maintenance, provisioning, and delivering of services.

In 1997, Castaldo took on the role of Project Manager at Telesoft spa, where they managed projects related to developing a Transmission Network Database, Commuting Network DB, Access Network DB, and Data and Voice Services Management system. domenico ensured the efficient management of both the physical and logical aspects of the network.

In 2000, Castaldo joined Telecom Italia as a Project Manager, leading projects for managing Telecom Italia's Data and Transport network. domenico introduced a new systems platform and worked with a team of project leaders from different business units.

From 2010 to 2014, Castaldo worked at Telecom Italia Information Technology (TI.IT) s.r.l., initially as a Project Manager in Infrastructure Engineering & Operations. domenico automated Data Center operations and managed strategic projects, including a successful DC moving project. Later, they became the manager of Infrastructure Capacity Planning in Infrastructures Planning & Delivery Management.

At Telecom Italia, Castaldo served as a Program Manager from 2006 to 2010, overseeing telecommunication projects for consumers and business customers. domenico worked with a diverse project management team with various competencies.

From 2014 to 2015, Castaldo worked at Telecom Italia Information Technology (TI.IT) s.r.l. as a Project Manager in Operational Planning. domenico defined requirements for a new monitoring and control system, aimed at improving planning phases.

Lastly, Castaldo's most recent role was at INWIT SPA, where they worked as an IT Manager from 2015 to 2020. domenico led the implementation of the INWIT systems platform, supporting corporate processes and enabling quick response to changing business requirements using NFV (Network-function virtualization) technology.

Currently, Castaldo is working at FiberCop as their IT Manager and Project Manager, starting in 2022.
