John Shiells

John Shiells is an accomplished technology manager with extensive experience in managing technology teams and driving initiatives for business continuity and communication. Currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Technology at Fibernetics since April 2004, John oversees Systems and Services, Data Networking, IT, and Data Center teams while championing knowledge sharing to eliminate silos. Previous positions include Technical Manager at Nucleus Information Services and GravityCube, as well as key roles at Deerfoot United FC and Deerfoot Soccer Club, where responsibilities ranged from website performance management to technical support. John began their career with hands-on technical roles, including Installer and Tech Support at AM PM Services and Onsite Technician at Compusmart. Education credentials include training from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Cisco training in Routers and Switches.
