Brett Beutell has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 with roles at Reed College, including SIN Webmaster, Teaching Assistant, and Tutor/Grader. In 2013, they worked as a Web Intern (Student Union) at Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater and as a Marketing Analytics Intern and Marketing Operations Intern at Capella University. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer at SwitchboardHQ. In 2015, they worked as a Front End Developer at Ink and Switch. In 2016, they worked as a Web Engineer at Apple. In 2017, they worked as a Writer at Interview Cake. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at ReaQta, with roles as a Frontend Team Lead and Full Stack Developer. In 2022, they began working at Fiberplane as a Frontend Engineering Manager.

Brett Beutell attended Eden Prairie High School from 2006 to 2010, graduating with a High School degree. brett then attended Reed College from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a BA in Mathematics.
