Andrew Daiber

Andrew Daiber has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of photonic hardware and engineering. Andrew is currently serving as the Director of Photonic Hardware at FiberSense since 2023. Before that, they worked as a Research and Development Engineering Manager at Baraja from 2022 to 2023. From 2016 to 2022, they held the position of President at Terabix. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Technologist at NeoPhotonics from 2015 to 2016 and at Emcore from 2008 to 2015. Andrew also served as a Principal Engineer at Intel from 2002 to 2008 and as an Engineering Manager at New Focus from 2000 to 2002. Andrew Daiber co-founded Optitek, where they served as the Vice President of Technology from 1995 to 2000. Andrew'scareer began as an Optical Engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1984 to 1991, where they specialized in illumination system design and color projection display design.

Andrew Daiber holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Andrew also obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
