Gideon Yoffe

Gideon Yoffe has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and photonics hardware. Gideon currently holds the position of VP Photonics Hardware at FiberSense since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at OptaSense, Inc. DBA Redfern Integrated Optics from June 2016 to March 2019. Gideon also served as an Engineer at Kaiam Corporation from April 2009 to May 2016. Before that, they worked as an engineer at Santur Corporation from 2000 to 2008, at Novalux from 1999 to 2000, and at Telstra from 1988 to 1991. Gideon Yoffe's early career includes roles as a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney from 1994 to 1999 and as a Postdoc at Eindhoven University of Technology from 1992 to 1994.

Gideon Yoffe obtained a BSc in Engineering Science from Durham University from 1979 to 1982. Gideon then pursued a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 1982 to 1988.
