Adrian Diaz Fortich, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of electro-optics systems engineering. Adrian started their career in 2015 as a Research Intern at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. In 2017, they worked as an Entrepreneurial Lead at NSF I-Corps.

From 2019 to 2019, Adrian served as a NOAA Experiential Research Training Opportunity Fellow at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. Adrian gained valuable experience during this time.

In 2020, Adrian joined Psionic Technologies as a System Engineer. In this role, they assembled and tested electro-optic subsystems for a FMCW coherent Doppler lidar and developed computer modeling and simulation tools.

Currently, Adrian is working at Fibertek Inc. as a Principal Electro-Optics Systems Engineer, starting in 2022.

Throughout their career, Adrian has showcased their expertise in lidar imaging and absorption spectroscopy techniques. Adrian has also contributed to various scientific meetings and has been awarded NASA travel grants.

Adrian Diaz Fortich, Ph.D. completed their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Adrian obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from The City College of New York in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad del Norte in 2012. Additionally, Adrian holds additional certifications as an Intern Engineer from The University of The State of New York, obtained in December 2012, and has also completed the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course from Udacity, though the specific month and year are not provided.
