David Palma

David Palma has over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. David is currently the Director of IoT Technical Sales at Fibocom since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sierra Wireless for 16 years, where they held various roles including Director of EMEA Field Application Engineering, Senior Field Application Manager, and Field Application Manager. David also has experience working at EADS Telecom, Cirpack, CS Telecom do Brasil, and TRT - Philips - CS Telecom in various sales and support roles. David Palma has a strong background in sales, account management, and technical application engineering.

David Palma obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunication, Network, Electronics, and Signal Processing from ENSEEIHT in 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Math Sup' P' (Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry) education at Lycée Lakanal from 1989 to 1992. In terms of further education, they pursued various courses and certifications. Some of these include Financial Accounting at Harvard Business School Online in 2022, Project Management and IPv6 at Télécom Paris in 2015 and 2014 respectively, and From 3G to 4G at Télécom Paris in 2010. David also attended Business Literacy Institute in 2012 for Building your Financial Intelligence. Additionally, they gained expertise in LTE, LTE Advanced and Machine Type Communication at Nexcom in 2017, and in Embedded Linux System Development at Bootlin (formerly Free Electrons) in 2013. David also completed a course on Target Account Selling at Siebel, although the dates of this education are not provided. Currently, David Palma is enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at EDHEC Business School, expected to be completed from 2022 to 2024.
