Jim Engleson

Jim Engleson has extensive experience in product management and strategic partnerships. Jim currently serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Fibocom since February 2021. Previously, they worked at Sierra Wireless for over 16 years, holding various roles including Senior Director of Integrated IoT Product Line Management, Director/Senior Director of Product Line Management for Embedded Broadband, and Senior Product Manager. During their time at Sierra Wireless, Jim led international product management teams, drove long-term roadmap and planning cycles, managed business relationships with key technology partners, and held P&L and GM responsibility for the company's product lines. Before joining Sierra Wireless, Jim was a Group Manager for International Product Management & Localization at Palm, Inc. from 2001 to 2005.

Jim Engleson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from The University of British Columbia. Jim also completed a Post Grad program in Asian Management/Economics at Capilano University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in September 2021, Sake Level 1 from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2020, and Japanese Language Proficiency Test - Level 2 from the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 1996.
