Michael Paukshto

Michael Paukshto has worked in various roles in the field of engineering since 2000. Michael started their career at Optiva, Inc. in 2000 as the Chief Optical Designer, where they were responsible for optical design of new materials, optical and electro optical components, display characterization and optimization, and structural and optical analysis of thin film coatings and liquid crystal materials. In 2005, they began consulting as a Professor at Stanford University. In 2008, they founded and became the CTO of Fibralign Corporation, where they worked on biopolymer engineering, coating and deposition, and reconstituted tissue-like scaffolds for medical devices and regenerative medicine.

Michael Paukshto obtained their Ph. D. and D Sc in Mathematical Physics and Theoretical Physics and Applied Engineering from St.-Petersburg State University and Novosibirsk State University between 1978 and 1991.
