Steve Jenkin has 8 years of work experience. Steve started their career in 2002 at T-Plan as a Technical Support. In 2009, they moved to Cornwall College in the same role. In 2010, they joined FibreCRM Limited and held four different roles there, namely Systems Operations Manager, IT & Development Manager, Technical Support Manager, and Software Applications Engineer.

Steve Jenkin has a diverse educational background. Steve began their educational journey in 1995, when they attended Hayle Community School and obtained their GCSE's. Following this, they attended Truro and Penwith College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained their A-Levels. Steve then attended The Cornwall College Group from 2002 to 2004, obtaining a Foundation degree in Information Technology. In 2004, they attended the University of Plymouth, where they obtained a BSc Hons in Multimedia Computing in 2005. In 2018, they attended BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, where they obtained an Information Security Management Principles certification. Steve also obtained a Certified Sugar Administration Specialist (CSAS) certification from SugarCRM in 2015. Currently, Steve is completing an Apprenticeship in Leadership & Management at the Chartered Management Institute, which they are expected to finish in 2022.
