Linda Botha

Linda Botha is a Senior Research Scientist at Suzano Canada, with a career spanning from 2008 to the present, which includes roles as Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Fibria Innovations. Prior to joining Suzano, Linda served as a Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Alberta from July 2014 to May 2017, and as a Senior Scientist at Sasol Polymers from September 2008 to June 2014. Linda holds a PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Stellenbosch and a MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Pretoria, along with a post-doctoral fellowship in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta. Areas of expertise include process chemistry, optimization of process parameters, and trialling new catalyst/donor combinations.
