Miranda Weggeman

Miranda Weggeman has over 20 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Miranda is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Fibriant BV, where they are responsible for down stream process development for recombinant proteins and assay development for product analysis and stability testing. Miranda also manages outsourced tests and studies. Prior to that, Miranda was the Director DSP at ProFibrix B.V., where they held leadership roles from 2009 to 2015. Miranda has also worked as the Manager Analytical & Process Development at SynCo Bio Partners and as a Senior Scientist Down Stream Processing at Crucell. Miranda'searly career experience includes working as a Research Associate at Pharming Group N.V., where they focused on protein purification development and clinical assay development.

Miranda Weggeman attended Leiden University from 1986 to 1992, where they pursued two separate degrees. Miranda obtained an MSc in Bio-Medical Science and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry.
