Aygül Karaorman

Aygün Aydin is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta since April 2021, Aygün focuses on user data protection and privacy within a vast data ecosystem. Previously, Aygün held the position of Chief Technology Officer at fable+, a company acquired by Accenture, and spent over a decade at Turkcell, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams for digital services and managing innovative applications serving millions of users. Aygün's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Doğuş University, a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kocaeli University, supplemented by a Nanodegree in Digital Marketing from Boğaziçi University and executive education at Harvard Business School.
