Tobias Häfner

Tobias Häfner is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as Project Manager for Capital Projects at Shell since November 2022. With over a decade at Fichtner Consulting Engineers as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Tobias has expertise in power plants, solar thermal energy, desalination, and the oil and gas sector. Prior positions include Deputy Executive Director of Southeast Asia at Fichtner Vietnam Company LTD., focusing on business development and project management, Assistant Project Manager at Imtech Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, and Research Scientist at the Institute of Fuel Cells, where responsibilities included developing test rigs for fuel cells. Tobias holds a Master's Degree in Energy Systems and Energy Management from the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen and an Associate’s Degree in Oil, Gas & Water Supply Systems, as well as HVAC systems from the College of Engineering-Stuttgart.
