Tomas E. Comelles

Tomas E. Comelles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and high voltage cable systems. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Fichtner since October 2022, Tomas also owns and operates Canigo Cable Consultings. Previous roles include Offshore Wind Advisor at Wood, Cable Package Manager and Senior Cable Expert at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, and Discipline Leader Offshore Cable at Equinor, where significant contributions were made to major wind farm projects. With a background as a Tender Manager and Project Engineer at General Cable and Nexans, Tomas has developed expertise in the design, manufacture, and project execution of electrical cables. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Industrial Organization Engineering and Business Innovation, among others, along with specialized training in wind power technology and project management.
