Mike Sanders

Mike Sanders is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience at FICO since July 2007, where roles have included Lead Engineer, Operations Engineer II, and Analytic Software Scientist. In these positions, responsibilities encompassed managing over 1TB of data daily from more than 200 clients across 20+ countries, ensuring the integrity of local and archived files, as well as metadata management. Additionally, expertise was demonstrated in sampling, studying, and mining terabytes of data for fraud prediction, along with building and maintaining analytical tools using languages such as C, Perl, Bash scripting, Python, and R. Mike holds a Master’s Degree in bioinformatics from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in biology from the University of Utah, where a role as a laboratory assistant was also held in 2003.
