Carlos Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Carlos began their career at DETERSA as a Production Engineer in February 1998 and worked there until December 1998. Carlos then joined Vives Vidal as a Deputy Technical Manager from December 1998 to October 1999. Alvarez then joined FICOSA as a Product Engineer/Project Manager in October 1999 and worked their way up to Test Manager in March 2003. From June 2006 to June 2007, they served as the Local Test & Prototyping Manager. Alvarez then became the Corporate Testing and Prototyping Director in July 2007 until March 2012. Most recently, they held the role of Corporate Projects Controlling Director starting in March 2012.

Carlos Alvarez has an education history that includes several academic achievements. From 1991 to 1997, they attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering. In 2006, Carlos enrolled at EADA Business School and completed two programs: an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from 2006 to 2008, and a program called "Liderazgo para la Dirección" in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Carlos Alvarez has also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed courses such as "Influencing People" from the University of Michigan | Coursera, "Finance for Managers," "Think like a CFO," "Accounting: Principles of Financial Accounting," "Corporate Finance Essentials II," and "Corporate Finance Essentials," all from IESE Business School - University of Navarra.
