Valentín Torrella

Valentín Torrella is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in computer-aided engineering (CAE) and mold design, currently serving as a Senior CAE Engineer at FICOSA since July 2019, focusing on Moldflow studies and product improvement collaboration. Previously, Valentín held various roles at Moldes Barcelona s.a from July 1997 to July 2019, including Rheological Simulation Technician, Quality Manager, IT Manager, and Molds Designer, engaging in injection molding project analysis and quality system management. Earlier experience includes positions as a Mechanical Draftsman at Metalerias Finas Federico Ferrer SA and Schoeller Allibert, specializing in tool design for the cosmetics industry and maintenance solutions for plastic parts. Valentín studied Design and Multimedia at the School of Information Systems, completing the program in 1993.
