Andy Sherman

Andy Sherman has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they interned as a Global Supply Chain Intern at Abbott Medical Optics. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Staff Value Chain Solutions Consultant at Oracle, where they focused on improving clients' supply chain planning processes. In 2014, they joined Orion Labs (formerly OnBeep) as an Acting Production Operations Lead & Supply Chain Engineer, eventually becoming the Director of Production Operations. At Orion Labs, they were responsible for supply chain planning, management, production planning, quality control, logistics, and vendor relationship management. In 2016, they became a Mentor at the Viterbi Startup Garage and started working at Fictiv as a Director of Production, leading the building and management of scalable systems for manufacturing. Andy then took on various roles at Fictiv, including Director of Supply, Director of Global Supply Chain, Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, and Vice President of Core Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Global Vice President, Core Operations at Fictiv. In 2019, they became a Mentor at MiLA Capital. Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated their expertise in supply chain management, production operations, and strategic business development.

Andy Sherman holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California. Andy also has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, which they obtained from the same university. Additionally, in 2014, Andy obtained a certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS. Prior to that, in 2013, they obtained a certification in Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), also from APICS. Currently, Andy is pursuing an Executive MBA degree at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2023.
