María Rodríguez Gude

María Rodríguez Gude has extensive experience in research and laboratory management, currently serving as Responsable del laboratorio físico-químico and Investigador at FIDAMC since November 2011. Prior to this role, María worked as an Investigador at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from March 2007 to October 2011. Academic credentials include a Doctorado in Ingeniería de materiales from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a degree in Ingeniería de Minas from Universidade de Vigo. Additional experiences include a Beca de colaboración at TWI, a predoctoral estancia at Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe GmbH, and a collaboration grant at Universidad de Vigo's Department of Materials Engineering. Earlier practical experience includes an internship at Centro Tecnologico de Grupo Copo.

The Foundation for Research, Development and Application of Composite Materials is a center of excellence in R+D+i whose objective is to keep Spain at the technological forefront in the use of composites and the aerospace industry as a strategic sector for this country. Created on March 15, 2006 by the agreement reached between the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, the Community of Madrid and the company EADS NV, this foundation is located in the Parque Tecnológico del Sur (Getafe) and occupies some 20,000 square meters.
