Ian Bell

Ian Bell, CFA, CAIA has had a diverse range of work experiences. Ian started their career as a Mac Specialist at Apple from September 2006 to February 2008. Ian then worked as an Intern/Associate at RBC Dominion Securities from July 2008 to October 2008. Next, they joined CIBC as a Sales Analyst from May 2009 to September 2009, providing reporting and support for a team of business development managers. Ian then became a Financial Services Representative II at CIBC from September 2009 to December 2010. Following that, they worked at Fidelity Canada in various roles, including Business Development Manager from December 2010 to December 2013, Manager, Regional Sales from January 2014 to May 2017, and currently as Director, Key Accounts since May 2017. Overall, Ian Bell has gained experience in sales, finance, and management throughout their career.

Ian Bell, CFA, CAIA obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2009. Ian has also earned additional certifications including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2019, and the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association in 2020. In addition, Ian completed the Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC) in 2010, the Canadian Securities Course in 2009, and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) in 2009.
