Oliver Wang

Oliver Wang is a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in Oracle and SQL Server database administration. Currently serving as a Senior Oracle/SQL DBA at Fidelity Canada since March 2017, Oliver has a strong background in database performance tuning, security implementation, and disaster recovery planning. Previous roles include similar positions at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, BMO, and CIBC, where Oliver provided expert consulting, troubleshooting, and strategy for complex database environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering was obtained from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, laying a solid foundation for a successful career spanning over two decades in the field.
