Scott MacKenzie has had a long and varied career in the financial industry. Scott started at Guardian Capital in 1993 as a Business Analyst and then moved on to Fidelity Investments Canada in 1997, where they worked as a Senior Business/Systems Analyst until 1999. From there, they joined Fidelity Investments as the Director of Marketing Information until 2002. After that, they worked at Broadridge Financial Solutions as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for nine years. In 2011, they joined Fidelity Canada as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and later became the President of Fidelity Clearing Canada in 2016.

Scott MacKenzie attended Queen's University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies.
