May Mark

May Mark has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In their current role as the Director of Philanthropic Strategies at Fidelity Charitable, they have been employed since June 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of School Success at XQ Institute from October 2018 to April 2021, and as the Deputy Director of School Support from July 2017 to September 2018. Before that, May worked as a Project Manager at One University Network, Inc. from February 2016 to March 2017. May also held multiple positions at New Leaders Org, including Program Manager for the Aspiring Principals Program from July 2013 to January 2016, and Project Coordinator for the Aligned Staff Group from February 2012 to June 2013. May served as an Emerging Leaders Fellow at Princeton AlumniCorps from June 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, they worked at Coney Island Prep as the Founding Operations Manager from January 2010 to June 2011, and as the Founding Office Manager from June 2009 to December 2009. May's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant to the Chief Talent Officer at Achievement First from August 2008 to May 2009 and as a Research Assistant in the Education Department at Brown University from June 2006 to May 2008.

May Mark attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. Prior to that, they completed their B.A. degree in Education Studies at Brown University. May also participated in the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies at Tsinghua University from an unknown start year until 2007. Additionally, they completed an Urban Education Semester at Bank Street College of Education in 2006. May Mark completed their high school education at Saint Ann's School.
