Alastair Baillie Strong

Alastair Baillie Strong has extensive experience in investment strategy and quantitative analysis, currently serving as the Global Head of Systematic Investing at Fidelity International since September 2015. Prior positions at Fidelity include Head of Portfolio Research & Engineering and Head of Investment Strategy for Asia. Prior to Fidelity, Alastair held roles at MN as Head of Investment Strategy UK and Senior Investment Strategist, as well as serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. Alastair also directed MBS Analysis Ltd and was Head of Quantitative Services at Barrie & Hibbert. Early career experience includes an LINC Analyst position at Scottish Life. Alastair holds an MSc in Operations Research & Management Science and a BSc Hons in Mathematics, both from The University of Edinburgh.
