Jay Patel

Jay Patel has a strong background in finance and tax management. Jay started their career with Deloitte New Zealand as a Senior Tax Consultant in 2007. From there, they worked at RBC Capital Markets as a Technical Author, Credit Suisse as an Executive Compensation Accountant, and Clifford Chance LLP as an International Tax Manager.

In 2014, Jay joined Herbert Smith Freehills as an International Tax Manager before moving to TOWER Insurance as a Tax Manager in 2015. Jay then worked at EY as a Senior Manager in 2016.

Jay's most recent position was with Fidelity Life Assurance Company Limited, where they held various roles including Financial Reporting & Tax Manager, Financial Controller, and currently Head of Finance.

Jay Patel completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from The University of Auckland. Jay completed both degrees from 2002 to 2006.
