Wei-Ting Chiu

Wei-Ting Chiu, PhD, currently serves as a Quantum Researcher at Fidelity TalentSource within the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, starting in February 2023. Prior to this role, Wei-Ting held a post-doctoral researcher position at Rutgers University - Newark from October 2020 to February 2023, where the development of a Probabilistic Inverse Optimal Transport algorithm based on Bayes’ theorem and Markov chain Monte Carlo method was achieved. Previous experience includes a Data Engineer Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a web platform was built for aggregating online video game reviews and a data ETL pipeline was developed. Wei-Ting also contributed to quantum Monte Carlo simulations during a graduate research assistantship at the University of California, Davis, and held positions as a graduate teaching assistant and a visiting scholar at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Wei-Ting's educational background includes a PhD in Physics from the University of California, Davis, focused on computational condensed matter theory, along with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
