Caue Zaghetto

Caue Zaghetto is a specialist in cybersecurity and biometrics, currently serving as a researcher at the R&D Security Lab of Samsung Electronics since May 2022 and representing Samsung on the FIDO Alliance's Technical Working Groups related to biometrics and certification. Previously, Caue held various academic and leadership positions, including General Director at Centro Universitário UniProjeção and Assistant Professor at Universidade de Brasília, where contributions included establishing the BiT Group for biometrics research and teaching a wide range of computer science subjects. Caue's research background also encompasses roles in digital forensics, focusing on cryptography and information security. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and master's degree in biometrics and mechatronics systems from the Universidade de Brasília, alongside multiple degrees in physics and pedagogy.
