Tim Stuart

Tim Stuart is an experienced professional in the payments and technology sectors, currently serving as the Biometric Component & IdV Secretariat for FIDO Alliance since February 2024 and as the EMVCo European Liaison since June 2023. Prior to these roles, Tim served as Vice President at Mastercard from March 2001 to September 2022, where responsibilities included developing Mastercard’s IoT payments proposition and managing global EMV and Contactless policies. Tim's career also includes titles such as Senior Business Leader and Chip Implementation Manager at Mastercard, along with a consultancy role at Logica. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Bristol and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
