Bill Arpe

Chairman at Fiduciary Real Estate Development

William (Bill) R. Arpe is Chairman of Fiduciary Real Estate Development, Inc. (FRED). Prior to serving as FRED’s Chairman, Bill served as President and CEO between 1985 and 2012. He, along with Ted Kellner, founded FRED in 1985. Since that time, FRED has grown from being an acquirer and property manager of stabilized multifamily apartments, into the fully integrated real estate development and investment management company that it is today.

Bill earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1968 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to co-founding FRED, he was a Senior Manager in Arthur Andersen and Company, SC’s consulting services practice, currently known as Accenture Consulting.

Bill has been active in various organizations including the Board of Directors and Treasure of BOMA, the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman of Ozaukee Bank, as a trustee at Ozaukee Congregational Church, the Board of Directors for the Downtown YMCA, the Board of Directors on the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, and as a member of the Community Roundtable at Concordia University.
